1. Reservations
All services are provided by reservation. A booking is confirmed only once you receive written confirmation from us containing the date, time, pickup and drop-off locations, vehicle class and total price. A quote alone does not constitute a confirmed reservation.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you supply, including flight numbers, addresses, passenger count and luggage. We are not liable for delays or additional charges arising from incorrect information provided at the time of booking.
2. Pricing and payment
Rates are quoted flat and all-inclusive and are confirmed before the reservation is accepted. Unless stated otherwise, the quoted price includes tolls, parking, fuel and standard wait time.
Additional charges may apply for waiting beyond the complimentary allowance, stops added on the day, changes to the route requested during the journey, or cleaning required as a result of damage or soiling caused by passengers.
Gratuity is discretionary and is not added automatically to standard bookings unless agreed in advance as part of a corporate account or event contract.
3. Wait time
For airport pickups, complimentary wait time is 60 minutes for international arrivals and 30 minutes for domestic arrivals, measured from actual landing time rather than the originally scheduled arrival.
For all other pickups, complimentary wait time is 15 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. Waiting beyond the complimentary allowance is charged at the prevailing hourly rate, pro-rated.
4. Cancellations and changes
Reservations cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup are not charged. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are subject to a partial charge, and cancellations within two hours of pickup are charged in full.
Weddings, multi-vehicle bookings and event contracts are governed by separate cancellation terms confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
We will accommodate changes to a confirmed reservation wherever availability allows. Changes are subject to re-quoting if they materially alter the journey.
5. Conduct and safety
All passengers must wear seat belts where fitted. Florida law regarding child restraints applies at all times; child seats are available at no charge when requested in advance.
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not permitted in any vehicle. Consumption of alcohol is permitted only where lawful and agreed in advance.
The chauffeur may decline or terminate a journey where passenger conduct is unlawful, unsafe, or presents a risk to the chauffeur, other passengers or the vehicle. No refund is due where a journey is terminated on these grounds.
6. Luggage and personal property
Luggage capacity is limited by vehicle class. Where the luggage presented exceeds the capacity of the reserved vehicle, we will use reasonable efforts to provide an alternative, which may incur an additional charge.
Personal property is carried at the passenger's own risk. We are not liable for loss of or damage to items left in a vehicle, although we will make reasonable efforts to return recovered property.
7. Delays and liability
We plan every journey with reasonable margin and monitor flights where relevant. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical failure, acts of government or force majeure.
Our total liability in connection with any reservation is limited to the amount paid for that reservation. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Insurance and licensing
Luxuri Transportation maintains the vehicle licensing and commercial insurance required to operate chauffeured ground transportation in the State of Florida. Certificates are available on request for corporate accounts.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Duval County, Florida.
