The resorts here — the Ritz-Carlton, the Omni Amelia Island Resort — bring guests who arrive expecting the ground transportation to match the room. Weddings are constant, the Concours d'Elégance fills the island every March, and golf groups move between courses with more luggage than a sedan should be asked to carry. We size the vehicle to the actual bags rather than the passenger count, which sounds obvious and is the single most common mistake in this market.
