The Beaches
Jacksonville Beach
The pier, the pavilion and the evenings that run late.

Jacksonville Beach runs on a different clock to the rest of the city. The evenings are longer, the parking is worse, and the drive home along Beach Boulevard is the one nobody wants to be responsible for.
Most of what we do here is nights out and airport transfers. On the nightlife side the value is obvious — drop at the door on First Street, collect whenever the evening ends, and nobody negotiates over who is driving. On the airport side the forty-minute run needs respecting: Beach Boulevard and JTB both back up westbound in the morning, and a departure timed off the off-peak number is a departure timed wrong. During spring and summer weekends the beach access roads add their own delay, which we plan for rather than discover.
Worth knowing
Late-night returns are standard here — there is no cut-off time on a booking, and the chauffeur waits rather than re-dispatching.
